Business Development Manager, London and South East
Office furniture, Market leader
The company
My client is an international leader in the office furniture market place.
They have a product range that is second to none, and have a fantastic infrastructure and support network. With a brand that is recognised all over the world they lead the way in the office furniture market place.
The role
They are looking to hire a Sales Professional from within the industry that has a real passion for the furniture market place.
You will sell to corporate end users, to architects and designers (A+D community) and to national blue-chips. You will regularly be expected to deliver presentations to Directors and Heads of Department, so must have polished presentation skills and a confident manner.
Your role will be to develop new business relationships via multiple channels. Much more than a ‘Sales Executive’ you will be representing the company and spearheading tenders worth anything up to £1,000,000 +. Whether it’s directly to a blue chip end user, or via an architectural practice you will put forward complex design packages that meet the client’s needs – in a professional and credible manner.
You will work from home and focus on the London / South East area.
The candidate
The successful candidate will come from a background selling high value office furniture solutions.
You will be a well polished sales person, with a creative mind and the drive to succeed. You must be able to present to people of all levels, in a credible and persuasive style and ideally possess experience selling high end products that are sold on quality and not price.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to create new business, and ideally be able to demonstrate experience selling to both corporate end users and architects and designers.
