We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to be based at a key site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Financial Analysts provide analytical support to assigned Business Units on all financial matters including (but not limited to) budgets, forecasts, business performance reviews, strategic planning, financial analysis for capital requests, investment proposals, staff requisitions and profit and process improvement initiatives.
You will build and maintain close relationships and partnerships with the key Business Leaders to ensure the provision of a highly regarded analysis service by developing tools and systems to facilitate a deeper insight into business performance and support decision-making processes.

Suitable applicants will be required to have: the following education, skills and experience;
• Part Qualified or Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years analyst experience.
• Ability to identify and solve complex business problems using appropriate financial techniques
• Strong commercial focus
• Strong exposure to Excel / visual basic
• Knowledge of database systems and analytical reporting tools (Cognos Powerplay, data-warehousing systems) would be an advantage.
