Medical Director (Neurologist) - Covance Careers.

We are currently hiring for a Medical Director, Senior Medical Director or Executive Director for our CNS Division (for exceptional candidates).

As a Medical Director, CNS, you will play a key role in providing scientific expertise in the operations, marketing and design of protocols within our CNS therapeutic area.

Responsibilities for our Medical Director include:

Supporting our operations and marketing strategies to enhance company’s visibility and position in the marketplace.

Assist in evaluation and prioritization of study opportunities within our CNS therapeutic area.

Assist in the feasibility assessment relating to specific study projects.

Develop, review and revise protocols, case report forms, medical responsibility plans, adverse event reporting plans, training materials, project specific tools, analysis plans design, clinical trial reports and new drug applications.

Participate in process improvement activities across Covance.
Education/Qualifications Neurologist with experience in the development for new treatments for Dementia preferred.
Experience The minimum education, experience and qualifications for this position include:

M.D. degree with postgraduate training or equivalent experience in Neurology and/or Psychiatry

Knowledge of drug development process and extensive experience in clinical research

Ability to represent Covance during client, industry and medical meetings

Strong leadership skills including oral and written communications skills

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
