We are looking for an experienced Project Management Office Analyst to join the team for 12 months to cover maternity leave, This exciting and diverse role is essentially to support our Clinical Project Managers and covers a myriad of responsibilities, which include;

About the Job

You will be the central point of contact for the PMs with regard to tools and processes
A large part of your time will be spent on research, so you be liaising with cross functional teams across Covance
Arranging training for new PMs
Working directly with the PMO Senior Director in the office of the PMO, developing reporting, tracking and quality control tools for use in Project Management.
Assisting Operations with identifying issues and proposing solutions for items impacting the financial success of a project. Interacts with Operations, Financial Analysts and Contract Management to assist in the overall reporting needs of all assigned projects.
Additional responsibilities include capacity planning, allocation of resources, workflow management and project management process enhancement to ensure timely, quality completion of clinical trials and achieving forecast revenue targets.

About you

Be confident, a problem solver, tenacious and proactive
You will be a real "people person"
Project Management or Project Planning experience.
PMI or Prince knowledge would be an advantage
Clinical background, CRO/Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Ability to work in a team matrix environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Have good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word

B.S./B.A. Life Sciences, Business or Project Management
Project Management or Project Planning experience.
Understanding of Project Management Principles and Practices.
CRO/Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Ability to work in a team matrix environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
