Quality Assurance officer
UK – Harrogate

At our Harrogate site in North Yorkshire, we are currently recruiting for 2 GLP auditors to offer Quality / Regulatory Support to our various Business Units on site. Candidates should be experienced and knowledgeable in a wide range of GLP auditing techniques, regulatory requirements, process improvement and problem solving skills. 
 Ideally they  will have some experience with one or more of the following scientific disciplines, Toxicology, Biotechnology, Metabolism and/or Bioanalysis. 
The candidate should exhibit strong customer focus and exemplary customer service skills.
They will have direct customer involvement during audits and issue resolution. 
Attention to detail and organisational skills are paramount, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. 
They must be a strong team player providing support, guidance and expertise in achieving regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction by educating, analysing and facilitating improvements through interaction with peers and both internal and external customers.
No direct supervisory responsibility is involved but career pathways are designed to utilise regulatory experience or man-management skills as possible options.
Internal applicants - the grading of these roles is flexible up to 109 grade, dependant on experience
Relevant BSc/BA degree plus minimum 2 years Laboratory/Animal House experience
Appointments to this post will have several years relevant work experience within a GLP regulated environment as a minimum, with ideally at least years spent in a GLP Quality Assurance role.
