Do you have proven experience within food retailing and are you looking for a new challenge with a market leading organisation?

Tesco are currently looking for a driven, committed and customer focused individual to join their team as Store Deputy Manager.

Based in Birmingham you will be responsible for the day to day running of all operations in the store. This will include managing all fresh food and grocery trading departments to ensure product availability, consistency, quality and choice is available in line with Tesco’s and Tesco’s customers exacting demands.

Alongside this, key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Delivering KPIs across all departments. This will include sales, waste, unknown loss, and availability
• Focus on maximising sales and driving promotions
• Lead, manage and coach a team of up to five managers
• Ensure all people processes, routines and policies are followed across all areas
• Deliver all business changes, with a ‘right first time’ strategy

The successful candidate must have proven experience in food retailing and team management. As well as this you must be:

• A team player
• Able to work a mix of shifts and Saturdays
