About the Job
• Performing daily server, storage & databases monitoring and health checks
• Backup & Restore Operations using Symantec backupExec and system recovery systems
• Provide support for LAN issues on a TCP/IP network
• Applying security patches to the following technologies (Windows servers, ESX servers, Oracle & SQL Server databases and Citrix presentation server)
• Managing and problem solving Windows file & Print services and associated permissions and

About You
• Preferably BA/BS in any area of the sciences or engineering
• Previous experience working with Windows 2000/2003 Servers & Symantec recovery server
• Experience working with Oracle or MS SQL Server
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with external clients and internal team members.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, when necessary
