A full driving licence is essential for this position as travelling between Rawtenstall and Manchester will be necessary. In the fullness of time national and international travel may also be required.

The Role

Jacobson Group are a leading supplier of footwear to multiple and independent High Street retailers. They require a friendly, organised and efficient person to join their QA/QC team in Rawtenstall, Lancashire.

You will be responsible for daily administration duties within the Department eventually being involved in checking and inspecting footwear, dealing with customers and suppliers and problem solving.

The successful candidate will be adaptable and willing to learn, comfortable and effective working with Microsoft Word and Excel. Digital photography skills will be an advantage for this role.

You will have the ability to work in a structured and organised manner, on your own initiative when necessary, but also as part of the team.

You will have excellent communication skills at all levels both verbally and written and will be happy to communicate both by phone and e-mail.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of five GCSE’s at C and above, ideally with a relevant degree or experience in a Footwear Technologist role.

Full on the job training will be provided in the role with external professional courses as necessary.
